Registration and continental breakfast (Bagels, assorted pastries, fruit salad, coffee and juice) opens at 7AM and the first session begins at 8AM.

Our conference this year features opportunities to learn with many talented local presenters from around Iowa and beyond, as well as a keynote address by Meredith White.

In addition to a full schedule of presentations on Saturday, we are excited to incorporate an EdCamp style collaboration session as part of the conference. During this session, attendees will have a chance to meet and connect with other world language educators to share ideas about a variety of topics that could include assessment, comprehensible input (CI) techniques, new-teacher tips, warm-up routines, and class culture/community-building ideas, authentic resources, cultural activities/ideas, speaking activities, technology, and curriculum. This is also an opportunity to collaborate and process information learned from the workshops/sessions at the conference with others.

Wi-Fi Availability

DMACC provides free Wi-Fi access to all campus guests (via the DMACC-Public network), with no additional log-in or password required. Bring your devices to stay connected throughout the conference.
